William performed at Hamburg’s Laeiszhalle on Wednesday for the penultimate recital of his tour of Germany. Joined by pianist Julius Drake, William performed works by Schubert, Haydn, Debussy, Ravel and Mahler. The evening culminated with a selection of songs by Jonathan Dove, described by one audience member as particularly “charming and humorous”.

Audience members were yet again delighted by William’s performance stating that, “I couldn’t keep my eyes off him during the whole concert… He’s a great performer with such an aura”. Several others described how they were amazed by his powerful voice, which was “both strong and expressive”.

William and Julius’ final recital will take place at the Konzerthaus Kleiner Saal, Berlin on 30 March. Purchase your tickets here.
