All Praise for William’s Recent Release
William’s recent recording with Ludus Baroque, The Triumph of Time and Truth has been receiving exceptional reviews since its release on 30 June 2014. The Guardian’s Tim Ashley described William as “a bit too young and sexy for the role, but the ease and beauty of his singing are exceptional”. He also chose the “utterly fascinating” disc as his CD of the week. The Telegraph’s Geoffrey Norris praised the “glorious line-up of soloists” and their “refined singing” with another four-star review. In addition, Gavin Dixon from Sinfini commends the soloists for their “attractive and individual tone, and all with clear pronunciation”.
Finally, The Trimph of Time and Truth was chosen as the Editor’s Choice for the August 2014 issue of Gramophone. There is admiration for Delphian’s “excellent sound engineering” and the orchestra’s “stylish and characterful playing”, with William singing the “solemn warnings of Time with compassionate authority”.
The disc entered the Specialist Classical Music Chart at just 17 and was in iTunes top three pre-ordered albums. You can buy The Triumph of Time and Truth at all major retailers including iTunes and Amazon online.
