Both audiences and critics have praised William Berger’s appearance in Vivaldi’s L’Olimpiade at Garsington Opera with the Evening Standard describing William’s performance in the role of Alcandro as ‘outstanding’. The Arts Desk commended William’s ‘characteristically authoritative support’, and and Seen and Heard praised his ‘authority, compassion and anger in body language and vocal nuance’.  The whole cast has been praised with The Stage commenting, ‘that the singers, breath visible in the chill air, cope so remarkably is testament to the commitment and high quality of opera at Garsington’.

William Berger will star as Alcandro three more times at Garsington Opera on 14, 22 and 29 June at 6.05pm.
